Lovely setting Quiet

8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026

The location was great for working in the area with a good pub/restaurant near by. The room was warm and comfortable, good parking on site and the breakfast was delicious.

The only down side was the room was looking a bit tired in places - electrical wiring on show by a socket and no lightbulb in the main bedroom light. The walls were quite thin as well - I could hear someone taking a shower at 6am (it sounded like I had left a tap running in my room).

Very friendly and helpful owners, lovely location and very comfortable.

Very central to our travels

It is a tired building and was thankful we only booked one night. Contact with host was non existent and we arrived well within check in time. Room spacious but in need of refinement and servicing.
