Family time

Spacious rooms with all facilities really comfy bed large tv, fridge microwave and kettle freshly cooked breakfast. You feel right at home everyone so helpfull and friendly

The price should include the breakfast , but still great value

Exceptional

The guest house was lovely for our short stay. There were nice touches in the spacious room like a fridge & microwave, tea & coffee making facilities which was great. Tony was very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be staying again when we are back in Wales.

Excellent local B&B close to all amenities in Bridgend

Room was very clean and spacious with a large en-suite. Had a fridge, microwave and plenty of space for hanging clothes. Tea and coffee facilities were provided Breakfast was great with plenty of choice with a choice of cooked breakfast or continental. The owners were great hosts and couldn’t do enough for you - would highly recommend.

A wonderful Welsh Welcome.

The rooms are spacious, airy and have lovely views of the surrounding fields. Having a desk in the room helps with getting some work done whilst having all the comforts of a microwave, fridge and coffee making facilities. Tony and Jane are fantastic hosts and really make staying here a joy. Great value for money and without a doubt my place to stay when in Bridgend. A really wonderful Welsh welcome. oh, and I highly recommend the breakfast too, thats cooked fresh to order.

it is off the beaten track, but with a car everything is only a few minutes away.And there's ample parking on site.

A little gem hidden away from sight, the host and staff go out of their way to make you feel at home

Treated well, and with respect. We were given a downstairs room to make life easier for my leg problem. The grounds were nice and spacious. The room was quite large,as was the bed. Good shower and nice size bathroom. The breakfast was superb and the dining room was well thought out, we were well looked after and would definatly stay there again

A comfortable and client friendly experience

The welcome was genuine and friendly and facilities were much better than we expected. A lovely hot cooked breakfast served on hot plates which we didn't mind paying extra for. The room was clean and spacious with everything you could need. Microwave trouser press, fridge, plenty of tea and coffee with a iced water bispencer just outside the room and ironing facilities lf you needed it.

Can't think of anything that would improve the stay.

Welcomimg, clean, well equipped room. A wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!

Everything about Hazelwood was lovely. From the moment we arrived and checked in we felt welcomed. Room was clean, well equipped and had everything we could possibly need.

A very pleasant and much needed restful stay.

The continental breakfast was more than adequate for us. There was nothing to dislike about our stay there The location was excellent, very quiet and peaceful. The accommodation was comfortable and very clean. Our hosts were friendly and attentaive. Would not hesitate to use the again. Highly recommend.

Very pleasant stay!

Tony on reception was very welcoming and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and my room was spacious. Nice and quiet in the evenings. Hairdryer and microwave were included in the room. Fabulous cooked breakfast in the morning too for an additional charge of £7. The ladies serving us were very friendly and welcoming too. Really impressed with the value for money with this place.

A hidden gem with easy access to Cardiff and beyond.

Very comfortable bed, quiet location, outside seating, lovely breakfast, easy train links into Cardiff Central and good nearby pub for evening meals. Have stayed here a few times but the added bonus of a fridge, microwave and fan in the room were thoughtful touches.

Lovely place

Good size room, TV, kettle, microwave. Private bathroom, clean facilities. Five minutes drive from the wedding venue we attended last weekend. Perfect location. Very nice breakfast. Lovely hosts. Cosy place. We spent late evenings at the garden. It's been a pleasure to stay.

Lovely b&b run by lovely people. You can order a 'one of everything' breakfast for £7 daily, which is great value. The twin room was comfortable and spacious for me and a friend. The cold water dispenser just outside the room was welcome. Nice communal sitting room to read and relax. 5 minute taxi from Bridgend station very conveniently near.

The only thing I would improve is a slightly meatier sausage with the breakfast, but that may be just a personal choice.

Lovely place

Booked due to visiting family in Bridgend, location near to it and tucked away nicely from the hustle and bustle. Quiet,comfortable, had everything that was needed plus more little extras that were great, plenty of tea and coffee in the room,a water dispenser in the hall to fill bottles etc, fab place to stay. Payed for a breakfast the sunday and it was lovely. Plenty of variety and well made. Highly recommended

To be honest nothing. Would defo book again and recommend
