The food was good.
The ensuite shower was excellent.
The room was average, the windows would not properly close and rain water came in and stood on the window sills. The walls were cracked, the paintwork was poor and needed renovation work and then painting. Overall needed some love and money spending on it.

Beautiful building! The staff were so welcoming and the breakfast was beautiful! Definitely worth the money!
Could do with a bit more tlc, I know it’s an old building which is why it’s a bit expected, but there was damp around the window and a crack down the wall.. but that didn’t impact our stay at all! We loved it and will be back 100%!!

The lights and especially the mirrored ceiling
The squeaky door and was quite surprised when I ordered only two drinks and the barmaid started adding up the bill with her fingers which was only resolved when I had to use my phone as a calculator for her but everyone was still very friendly

It was a good location for a family visit
We stayed here years ago and looks like it’s been refurbished very cheaply.
