It was the full package, a traditional Scottish Guest House with a modern twist. It looks great upon arrival. Hosts Suny & James went out of their way to ensure I had a very comfortable stay. Parking in the city too, How good is that!!!! Breakfast in the morning was amazing, after a very good night sleep. I was there for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and all the entertainment was walking distance. If you want a comfortable stay in a traditional Scottish Guest House, this is the place to go!!

The location & cleanliness was great. I really enjoyed the breakfast too. I had a really quiet & restful nights sleep.

We had top floor room which was up alot of stairs.
Room was clean. Bed could probably do with a new matress as was creeky and you could feel the springs. Breakfast was OK but not much choice.
Had an old people's home feel about it, but overall was fine.
Number of stairs to room, didn't read anything about that prior.
More choice for breakfast, No Scottish breakfast option.
