The gardens and location. Bed was comfortable.
The decor is extremely dated and shows significant signs of wear and tear, appearing not to have been updated since the 1990s. We also had to wait beyond our scheduled check-in time before being able to access our room due to housekeeping delays, during which we waited in the lounge area. Unfortunately, the lounge felt more like a nursing home common room than a welcoming hotel space.
Having paid $450 for a one-night stay, we had considerably higher expectations. Overall, the condition of the property and the experience fell well short of what we would expect at this price point.
