Exceptional

The Gwesty Links is now a modern,good looking hotel with great outside seating .The bedroom was large with a great looking bathroom with shower.. The breakfast was served in the new dining room with plenty of staff to help.

If there was anything to dislike it would be the distance into town.Its really not that far but you need to be pretty fit to walk it.A taxi into Llandudno would only cost you £5.

Be returning to this place... excellent

Very nice and clean place. Food was excellent. Bar prices were a little dear but expected that being away. Staff were friendly and helpful. Friendly place and met a few locals too. I didn't expect it to be so lovely.

Could have done with a lift as we were on the top floor but was nice nevertheless.

Comfortable accommodation, good food and good service.

Well maintained and attractive property close to local amenities and just 20mins walk from the town centre. Plenty of free parking. Friendly and attentive staff who made us feel very welcome. Good tasty food and a very good breakfast selection. Comfortable bedrooms and beds, had a great nights sleep.

Was a bit more expensive (for BnB) than some other hotels but on balance worth it.

Pleasant and welcoming

It was welcoming and the room was very large and warm, there were some pleasant features that had been preserved from the past which remind you of it’s early days

Perhaps that there was no lift as all rooms were on the second floor or above but we were OK but other people may have problems

Good location with free parking. Nice pub ibn the hotel. Very good breakfast. Spacious room.

The room and bathroom were very warm with no way to control the temp. Also, one of the windows was very old and rattled at night.

The room was very well equipped & very comfortable The restaurant staff were really friendly & the food excellent.

Anyone with any mobility issues would do well to talk to the hotel before arrival as the bedrooms are spread over several floors accessible by stairs only. We had no problems but clearly this could be an issue for some

Convenient for town centre

I stayed in room 108 on 10th January 2023. I checked in online and paid on arrival. The room rate in January was very reasonable. I booked with booking.com and I received a 10% discount, because I'm at Genius level 2 apparently (Who knew that?). Car parking is excellent, with plenty of space. My room was comfortable and well-equipped. Good selection of tea/coffee etc and local Decantae water, which I like. I didn't like the single-use toiletries, too much throwaway plastic. The bathroom was down a flight of five steps, well-lit with good handrails. I had a tasty cod and chips in the Hotel restaurant. Friendly service and quick. I love Llandudno. Gwesty Links is a five-minute brisk walk from the town centre. The hotel is on a busy roundabout, with midweek traffic noise in my room from 6am. Other rooms may be quieter. Breakfast was OK, good choice of cereals, juice and yogurt. I would have liked a menu card and more choice of fruit and maybe better quality toast and more of it. I was down early. The restaurant was quiet and I wasn't offered more toast or coffee. Checkout was easy. Happy to recommend Gwesty Links.
