Great position for enjoying Northumberland. Great facilties, great food and great service.
The maize at Doxford Hall was a bonus which we all enjoyed.

Stayed in one of the Coach house rooms. Beautiful large room and large bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Quiet. Main hotel was beautiful, elegant and had comfortable and relaxing public areas such as a library, lounge and bar. Spa and pool area was a bonus and very relaxing. Would definitely stay again.

DOGS. Barking and whining. Had to Complain Twice.I didn't expect to pay a premium price for a 4star Hotel to find it's Battersea dogs home. Don't blame the dogs it's the inconsiderate owners leaving an animal in a strange place on it's own. Should be in an area of the hotel away from other residents not only for noise but allergies etc. Duty Manager wasn't present at my time of complaint reception staff said they would pass on my concerns but I never had any messages or contact which I find disappointing for such an Establishment of such Quality.

Nice location. Room was spacious and clean.
Location of room meant no room service was available. Had to go searching for staff on several occasions.
