large clean bedroom and bathroom, pleasant outlook, good food, plenty of parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful, though it wasn't a 'wedding' night.

The room was beautifully decorated and very large. Tasteful furnishings that went well with the period of the house. The bed was really comfortable and bedlinen of top quality which is an extra joy when on holiday and not always something that hotels take care with. Dinner was delicious!

Reception staff all lovely . The chap that greeted us and the lady that checked us out . Lovely bar area and if the weather had been nicer we would have used the nice outside area .
Needed painting dinning room ceiling obviously water leaks
Windows needed painting throughout ,carpet in room needed changing as did chair needed cleaning as badly marked . Carpet on stairs needs replaced side staircase .
Waitressing staff need training both evening meal and breakfast . Then it would be a 10/10

staff were good and attentive, breakfast good, however a set breakfast menu only works if everyone either follows it or instead writes down the actual cooked breakfast as ordered by guests neither myself or wife were given the breakfast as ordered. not a big issue just disappointing.
basic hygiene lack of cleaning in both bedrooms and main guest areas in particular carpets, either hotel need to purchase new vacuums or need using more frequently, also stained and dirty armchairs in bar area need cleaning
