Wonderful location and full of character. Recently renovated but retained original character. Staff very friendly
On balance would probably prefer a room not in the eaves but still spacious and comfy

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was lovely. Location is perfect. Air conditioning. Plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits and other drinks available in the minibar.
This was my fault, not the hotel's. All the pillows and the duvet were duck and goose feather. I am allergic. I completely forgot to mention this on my booking but I didn't discover this until it was after 11:00pm so I couldn't get it resolved. I ended up sleeping on rolled up towels in a pillowcase and just the duvet cover with the blanket. Note to self and others. Always check on the bedding situation if you are highly allergic to feathers.

Beautiful building, great location.
Booking.com advertised hotel as having AC. Our room was 27C with no AC and to make things worse the window did not open. It was a sealed window meaning no air circulation and we couldn’t sleep properly or spend time in the nicely decorated room.
