Really loved this hotel/pub in such a beautiful village. Great food, breakfast was nice, staff lovely.
Be ready for stairs! We had 62 to our room (there’s no lift).

The history and ambiance of the building. The front facing room with a waterside view was a real draw. Comfortable bed and quality Land and Water products.
Breakfast was a let down. The Sloop had an unpleasant smell and the scrambled eggs were very dry.
Our room whilst lovely had very limited space to manoeuvre between the end of the bed and the fireplace which could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues or in the dark getting to the bathroom from the left side of the bed in the night.

The lady that checked us in, let us access the room early which was a godsend bearing in mind the weather.
We used the bar which was great
We stayed in room 14 and even though we opened the window, it was too hot at night

Hotel is in a great location right in the centre of Dartmouth. Rooms and hotel have been recently refurbished and are lovely. Comfy beds and great shower too.
Only negative I can say was scaffolding restricting our view slightly.
