Fabulous location in old town handy for all the major sights. Extremely helpful, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Beautiful surroundings, communal areas, kept in pristine condition. It was a haven of coolness and peace. The pool a huge benefit during very hot weather.

We absolutely loved it - location was incredible, close to everything, which was a big bonus considering how hot it was.
We had 2 rooms, next to each other - very comfortable beds and cute bathroom, in style with the historical part f the hotel.
Breakfast was excellent, plenty of option and everything super fresh, complete with grapes from their own garden wines.
Reception staff was amazing and friendly, arranged everything we needed, gave us directions and tips and got us a last minute reservation on a coveted restaurant.
We had dinner 1 night at the hotel restaurant and unfortunately the food was very dry, it looks like the 4 dishes were prepared at different times and were just sitting under a very strong light to be kept warm, but for the prices charged (more than what we saw on other great restaurants withing the city) we were expecting a perfect cooked cod, and it was far from it.
On the other hand, the appetizers were spot on, as well as the wine recommendation from our waiter.
