The location was exactly what we were look for. It was in the heart of nature with walking trails, birds and animals and you would see the stars at night. We loved the daily visits from the peacocks too!

It was an amazing place. A whole house for yourself. They also made home made bread for us. You could get cookies and madeira wine for a few euros. And they cleaned, gave new towls, made the bed, emptied the trash and restocked toiletpaper after two days. It was very peacefull and quiet and it felt very safe. Temperature was perfect too. We liked it very much!

Wonderful stay! Gorgeous cottages set in beautiful gardens. Very private and feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, yet you are only 20 mins from Funchal. Walking distance from excellent restaurants, bars, supermarket and bakery. Levada walks direct from the property. Peacocks wandering around while we enjoyed our morning coffee. A really special place, highly recommended

It was private and easy to get to. Had most things needed for a comfortable stay. Very beautiful surroundings
Toilet was a bit unusual to get into but apart from that, all good
$$$$
