Great location in the city centre, with everything you need nearby. Malmö Central Station is also very close, which is especially convenient when arriving by airport bus and for taking day trips by train.
The 24-hour check-in/check-out and friendly staff were a big plus.
The room was reasonably clean, although it could have been cleaner.
The bed was very soft, and although the room was for two people, there was a light and power socket on only one side of the bed.
The room had an iron, although it would be more practical to have one available on request at reception. A fridge, kettle and safe would be much more useful amenities to have in every room.
Soundproofing could also be better, and the room door sometimes shook when other doors were opened or closed.

The hotel is located in a building in one of Malmö’s central squares and near the cathedral. The property has some somewhat dated outdoor areas and rooms that would benefit from a renovation and some modernization.
Our room was very spacious, with somewhat old-fashioned furniture, but the bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom was fine, although the cleanliness could have been better.
We really appreciated the excellent and very generous breakfast offered by the Scandic, as well as the reception staff, who were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our one-night stay.

The location was great, the room had a simple and clean design, and the price was quite reasonable.
While I respect the focus on energy efficiency, the room was extremely cold — we had to ask for an additional electric heater twice.
Also, there was no phone line to reach the reception, which was a bit inconvenient.
And although we stayed as a couple, the room had two single beds pushed together, which kept sliding apart.
