Für alle die gerne warm haben, ein gutes und sympathisches Hotel mitten in der Altstadt

Nettes Personal. Gutes Frühstück. Sauberes Zimmer.

Das Zimmer war viel zu stark geheizt, gefühlt über 25 Grad. Das Problem konnte offenbar trotz Beanstandung nicht gelöst werden.

Es war in Ordnung, aber nicht zu 100% zum wohlfühlen.

Top Innenstadt Lage (Bahnhof in ca 10 Min per Fuß zu erreichen, Fußgängerzone und tolle Bäckerei "Tea Room" um die Ecke). Personal beim Check-in außergewöhnlich freundlich und zugewandt. Obwohl auf der Homepage nur französische und englische Sprachmöglichkeit angegeben, hat sie sich sogar sehr bemüht alles auf deutsch zu erklären.

Das Gebäude ist sehr alt, was schon auch charmant ist, aber die Inneneinrichtung des Zimmers war einfach abgewohnt. Das Holzbett hat bei jeder Bewegung geknarscht. Bad sehr alt, warmes Wasser kam Abends fast gar keines. Duschen mit warmen Wasser ging nur morgens. Duschkopf war sehr verkalkt. Für lärmempfindliche Menschen empfiehlt es sich Ohrenstöpsel mitzunehmen. Gebäude sehr hellhörig, zudem natürlich die Innenstadtlage mit den Kirchenglocken der Kathedrale in unmittelbarer Umgebung auch eine Störquelle sein können.

The hotel is old, all the furniture are worn. There is no AC in the room, windows are old and the room was very noisy at night.

Disappointed facilities but location good

Location to restaurants and city attractions etc

room facilities were limited. In hot weather no air-con only basic domestic fan. Tea and coffee were not replenished daily and the two day supply of milk were not replaced for an 8 day stay. Had to go and buy own tea and milk. Breakfast was very limited selection and so better to eat out. Not the 4 star rating I expected

Greeting was fine. That was about it.

Ancient Hotel with rooms that were renovated last in the 1950's Windows didn't work well and let in smoker's smoke from the interior courtyard.

practical

Good location.

On the booking.com website checking is stated untill 22:30 but in reality it is 21:00. The receptionist called and was so kind to wait. The room is clean and does its job. Bed comfy. Breakfast was too expensive for what was offered.

This is a hotel which I frequent regularly when in the area, it is situated in the heart of the city and offers good rooms for a decent price !

It is a pity that the rooms at the back = away from the (noisy) street, are situated at a patio, which acts like a chimney, so all the fumes (kitchen & outside smokers) enter the room when having the window open.....

A nice hotel but out of the way to downtown

Very clean room though poor acoustic isolation

The reception lady on arrival wasn't helpful when rang on tv programs issues. She was much better when I went down in person

it was good but not worth it

only the bed it was comfortable.

product such as shampoo and shower gel etc. should put 2 for 2 people. when you pay 285 euro for the room at least we expect those. help the client to show there room. greet them when they come or go.

Romantic hotel in the heart of old Fribourg

Super location - excellent for the old city. Parking easy in the square (the hotel sells you a pass for 24 hrs - but you have to ask). Very friendly and helpful reception who printed out tickets I needed the next day. Breakfast was efficient and friendly server.

Pillows are German as are the duvets. But that’s how it is. A nice view of the inside ‘courtyard’ of the hotel (sarc)

the location is great, right at the city center. it is close to everything in town.

it is quite noisy, single bed is quite small.

good value for the money

The hotel can be reached on foot or by bus from the train station. It is near the old part of town, so the location is great. After 9:30 p.m. the hotel can be entered conveniently with the room key. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

The shower head is a sustainable one and therefore the water pressure is not as high as one would like. The faucet in the bathroom was not working properly. The bell from the church next to the hotel rings quite loudly - so if one is sensitive to noise, this might disrupt sleep.
