This was our second time in Braunbär and it was as enjoyable as the first one. The hotel is right in the centre of Wengen, right across the road from the minigolf course, 2 min walk from the cable car station and 5 min from the train station. The staff are wonderful throughout the hotel - friendly and welcoming. Our duplex family suite was spacious and quirky and had a gaming arcade which was a big hit with our 11-year-old. Indoor/ outdoor spa area is excellent - with a large swimming pool. And on-site restaurant Goldlöckchen is highly recommended, serving classic Swiss dishes with a twist.

The hotel was nice and modern. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It was well located for exploring the Jungfrau region.
I booked a bunk room which was fine, the layout wasn’t great for relaxing in the room as the only seating option was a bunk bed but that’s mainly only me for being cheap and booking that type of room.

The half board and roominess of the room. Dinner was excellent.

Sauna and steam room were great after a long day of walking. Aperol Spritz’s were some of the best I’ve ever had!
Room was small. Unbelievably expensive for what it was. The balcony was almost as big as the room itself. Poor availability of teas and coffee in the room.
