Right in the midst of the Mountains and close to the Muttereralmbahn so you could get very quickly to your mountain hike. Also good and direct connection to Innsbruck
Some general and simple things were missing: toilet paper in the general restroom on the ground floor. No bar/drink options at the spa/ chillout area. That feeling of “warmly being welcomed”

Lovely clean hotel..
Loved the traditional feel
Infra red sauna and outdoor pool were amazing..
balcony was great overlooking the gardens and fabulous natural pool.
Tram stop just outside the hotel, very easy to go into innsbruck..

Beautiful mountain views
Very convenient for the tram to Innsbruck centre
We had a junior suite, which was spacious if a little dated
A large bottle of sparkling water in the room

Room cleaning only every 2 days which meant our room not refreshed as only staying 2 nights
We found the staff irritating - both the waiter and waitress were rude and impatient, e.g the waitress refused our request to be seated with a view even though the restaurant was half empty, served a gin and tonic so weak it was alcohol free and removed plates when we were still eating. At breakfast the waiter was hostile.
The breakfast was 2 star at best- very poor choice and quality. Coffee from a machine is not 4 star
Dinner the first night was a plate of roast veg with a fried egg on top, for 2 with one beer and one dismal gin and tonic the bill was 88 euros. We did not return
The receptionists were not very welcoming- possibly because we were English?

Location of hotel is excellent. 5 minutes walk from tram stop with direct service into Innsbruck. Beautiful view from room. Quality of food at breakfast and dinner very good.
Our room would have benefitted from having fridge and air conditioning or a fan. The hair drier was missing and it took two visits to reception and around half an hour to get a replacement. The state of the hotel does not match the images on the Booking.com website.
