The reception is in the modern Hotel Eger end with the pool, spa and bar. The restaurant is in the traditional Park part of the hotel. There is quite a long walk from reception to the Park rooms, though there are baggage trolleys available. The staff were friendly and efficient. There is a good tasty choice of food in the restaurant. Breakfast choice wasn’t quite so good. We were able to park our motorcycles right outside the front door.
We had a good sized room in the Park end. The curtains were decorative and didn’t cover the whole window so it wasn’t as private as it could be with a light on in the evening and they let in a lot of light. The first evening the shower water was tepid at best, though the next day there was plenty of hot water. The aircon is not very efficient and is noisy (we took the quilts out of the covers as it was warm in the room).

The location is very convenient. Breakfast and dinner options were nice, and there was a good selection of products. The wellness & swimming pool area is quite big and has many options. Parking spaces are available in front and at the back of the building. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The room itself was also quite big and equipped with most of what we needed. Even though the room was facing the road, it was nice and quiet at night (only in the morning there were some trucks making noise). I enjoyed the decorations along the corridors (and as the walk from the reception desk was long, we were able to see quite a few paintings, pictures, and graphics :D, so the walk was not boring.
We stayed in the old part of the hotel - it was quite a walk from the reception desk, so if you have issues with walking, better make sure you are in the new part of the building. The placement of the bed was very inconvenient, and it created hazardous situations (it was very easy to hit yourself). As the hotel has a wellness center, it would be cool if, not only the bathrobes, but also the slippers were provided in the room. The thing that I did not like was that in the corridor you could smell everything from the kitchen, and it was mushoorm past day.

The location and the hotel itself was very nice and clean, however the spa and wellness part was a bit worn down
Everything felt very cheap. For a start the quality of the food was quite bad. The bread was dried out the jam and the fruit juices tasted of preservatives, which is okay if you are a backpacker or just staying one night at a random cheap hotel but not for this price.
The wellness was also quite a wierd experience. Some tiles were missing, everything was rusty, the water was a bit cold, etc.
The staff was okay, but there was a family with 4 boys and they were literally splashing water everywhere, shouting , jumping in the water and quite fairly disturbing everyone else who came to relax, but none of the staff members came to tell them to behave, which in my opinion should be their responsibility.
