Room pretty big for 2 persons
A/c doesn't work properly; it's so hot in our room, very uncomfortable, and we can't sleep at all. The rest was great.

Rooms took us back in time which wasn't a bad thing. Since we were from the states it was nice to be able to adjust the channels language to English (wasn't available it several other hotels we stayed at on our trip). We had to leave early so didn't get a chance to partake of breakfast.
Restrooms could use some love.

We loved that the hotel is connected to an almost 1000 year old church, which was beautiful! The location is within walking distance of an ancient Roman aqueduct, as well as several restaurants and the train station.
The staff was wonderful. They were responsive and always polite.
I liked that breakfast was included. Nothing hot, but good enough.
The price was great for Rome in the summer, so there's that.
So, it's unfortunate that there was much more not to like. Our first room was sparse to say the least. The walls were dirty and was definitely in need a paint job. One of the AC units and the shower door didn't work so we asked to be moved. The staff quickly accommodated us. Our son's room was habitable but just as uncomfortable.
Our second room was slightly better and maybe a bit bigger. Still, the beds were rock hard, like sleeping on a brick. By night 3, we could barely walk from our backs being so stiff. We knew this hotel wasn't going to be a Hilton, etc, but the cons out weighed the pros.
