The hotel is conveniently located right by the train station which made it super easy for our travel. The staff were very friendly and check-in/out was painlessly fast. The mattress was very comfortable and the room was clean.
When arriving at the hotel, we were surprised to find the entrance was inside a shopping arcade and surrounded by unsavoury characters that made us feel a little unsafe.
We felt even more unsafe, when coming out of our room to see a group of 4/6 police officers escorting a unruly, shouting man into, what we think, were the toilets of the hotel reception. While we know this isn't the hotel's fault, it is a reflection on the area I think is important to showcase, especially if you're thinking about booking this hotel with small children.
The breakfast was also unfortunately quite disappointing and featured the worst coffee I had in Italy.
I would say, the photos make the hotel seem very vintage-luxury, however we didn't unfortunately experience this.

The staff were lovely and the room was clean and comfortable.
It was also very close to Pisa Central train station which was very convenient.
One of the bedside lights hadn't been fixed.

Great location for access to the train station. Had a nice view towards the airport. Breakfast nice.
The air conditioning didn’t work so the room was very hot. We had trouble sleeping because of this. Tried adjusting the air conditioning control with no luck. The shower mixer only ran very hot water. It was impossible to adjust it to a comfortable temperature so couldn’t have a decent shower. Interesting hotel, needs updating.
