The location, cleanliness and the lovely pastries delivered to our room each day. This was a wonderful European experience the room was large and the balcony made for a nice view.

The Aenea inn is in an excellent location in Monti, out of the busiest/touristy part of the city, close to great bars and restaurants and also within walking distance of main attractions. The room was clean and spacious.
For the price we'd paid (and in comparison with other hotels) we were a little disappointed with the breakfast provision. It is worth noting they operate a 'delivery system' of various rolls and pastries to your door at 7.30, fine if you enjoy a bread heavy breakfast, but not ideal for those who appreciate a little more variety and a leisurely sit down in a hotel dining room to ready you for a busy day of walking the streets!
