Sehr enttäuscht

Gute Verbindung

Für über 400€ für 2 Nächte 2 Personen habe ich was anderes erwartet. Zimmer sehr klein, nicht mall Trinkgläser, Hausschuhe, in vorhandene minibar in Zimmer nicht mal Wasser drin. Frühstück, bleibt Mann nicht hungrig, trotzdem sehr arm für das Preis.

Colazione abbondante e curata nella qualità, in particolare nell'offerta della parte di pasticceria. La posizione dell'hotel è centrale, ottima per la vicinanza e accessibilità ai servizi urbani. Le camere sono arredate in modo essenziale ma ben tenute e pulitissime. Molto gradevole la terrazza esterna per la colazione, con vista sulla basilica di S.Maria Maggiore

Completerebbe la dotazione delle camere un piccolo frigo-bar, o, quantomeno, migliorare l'offerta di bevande e snack dei distributori automatici

I think it was the laundry detergent that was used on the sheets. It had a strong odour and felt drying to our skin. The bathroom was suitable. However, it could have used a fresh coat of paint.

El alojamiento está muy bien ubicado cerca de la estación de subterráneos y cerca de la terminal de Roma. El personal muy amable, la limpieza excelente y un muy buen desayuno. Como punto débil debo señalar la dimensión de la pieza que era chica .

Empfehlenswertes Hotel in zentraler Lage

Zentrale Lage in Bahnhofnähe. Zimmer gehen alle zu einem ruhigen Innenhof. Bequeme Betten. Grosszügiger Kleiderschrank und gute Ablagemöglichkeit für die Koffer. Vielseitiges Frühstückbuffet mit Kaffee ab einer Bar-Theke. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad sind beschränkt.

Location and style of facility

The service of the people was awful. We were a family, booked two rooms (one for adults and one for kids) put us on different sides of the hotel. The. At night there was a leak in one of the rooms and pushed it off as if it was nothing

Great location with lovely staff and great access to transport.

Great facilities. Was an easy walk from central station and close to bus stops that can take you almost anywhere in Rome. Also close to come unique streets around Rome and the breakfast was outstanding.

Couldn’t bring guests to my room. I had friends who I was seeing and they couldn’t come up to my room. I know why for safety reasons but it was slightly annoying.

No air-conditioning

Close to the central station "Roma Termini". Also, the breakfast area has a nice terrace overlooking a square.

First, the bedrooms facing the street are extremely noisy. The windows are not sound-proof, so you'll hear constant horns and loud motorcycles. Bring your best earplugs. Secondly, there was no functioning air-conditioner. And by that I mean it was not even turning on, so my room was around 28C (84F). Apparently they had this issue on several floors, it was not just my room. When I asked about possible solutions, the receptionist said there was nothing he could do and suggested that I just open the window (which, if you read my comment above about the street being extremely noisy, that's a quite unreasonable suggestion). Thirdly, the bathroom was very smelly, like it wasn't properly cleaned. It was awful. But the most annoying fact is that the gentleman at the reception didn't speak any English. And he was alone. So it was really frustrating to navigate the air-conditioning issue. I unfortunately don't recommend this place for English-speaking tourists. It's a trap. The place is listed as a 3-star hotel that offers air-conditioning, but it was a 2-star experience at max (and no air conditioning).

Very pleasant stay in Basilica hotel. With an earlier breakfast start time, it would be excellent.

Location of the Basilica hotel is very convenient. It takes 10 minutes to walk toward two A-line subway stations, one of which is Termini train station, 20 minutes to Piazza Venezia or Coliseum. A lot of small restaurants with a Roman cuisine are in the area. The hotel’s stuff is very helpful to find your bearings around the city. The room is spacious, clean with an old classic style décor and the modern bathroom amenities. Our windows were looking into a quiet courtyard, overgrown with the trees, vines and flowers.

The breakfast is very good, but the emphasis is done on the sweets. The cheese, salami and the hardboiled eggs are your non-sweet options, which are greatly appreciated. The breakfast starts at 7:30 am, which is often late, if you have an early tour or departure. An option of “to go” breakfast is a wending machine style, it has a cookie, toast and a juice. Sweet ☺

Great hotel, I would definitely recommend it and I would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was just fine. The personnel serving the breakfast were quite polite and professional. The room was great, high ceilings, clean with a great renovated bathroom. The bed matrice could be a little bit better. Location was really great. Most of the day we were just walking towards the city center without even the need to use public transportation.

A great stay

The room was big and very clean. The bathroom was very clean and comfortable. The bed was huge. The breakfast room was nice and the coffee they offered was very good. Excellent location.

Maybe they should add a safety box in the rooms. The air-condition was a bit noisy.

Exceptional

Everything!!! The staff is perfect - smiling, welcoming, helping people. It was like home in the center of Rome. The location is excellent- 15 minutes walking distance from all the famous landmarks, the public transport is 5 minutes away. Perfect price/quality ratio!
