A fabulous location, but more important great staff - more like family - if you have walking issues you may want to rethink this location as its in-between upper and lower Gardone and the land is quite hilly - saying that its beautiful - Breakfast - maybe one or two more articles for choice but good variety on offer.
We have been coming to the hotel for many decades it seems and have seen the improvements over the years - however, they have slowed down whilst the price continues to increase - of course this is the way things work - but with a new hotel due to open soon - I hope the Sofia can do enough to attract the guests it deserves. The staff can do no more - they are off the scale - owners maybe need to look at some upgrades - Better TV , internet sockets in rooms - showers replaced as the shower curtain ends up marrying you all the time - still a great and wonderful place -

Beautiful hotel in a quiet yet central location between the lake and the old town. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Easy to park. Nice pool and rooftop terrace. All in all a good experience.
The room that I stayed in was nice and clean yet a bit dated.
