The location was perfect as could walk 10 minutes to Gardone and an ample amount of restaurants there and some shops as well as the ferry terminal. Salo itself is a bit further out and we got a taxi there and boat back to Gardone. Salo has lots of shops and restaurants and busier than Gardone but bearable. Clarissa behind the bar was a joy and provided great service and Martina the receptionist was extremely helpful and a delight to deal with.
We appreciated that the evening meal was focused on fine dining but we did not care for it as very little food for high prices, although what food we had was delicious.

Wonderful views with a garden and terrace alongside the lake. Lovely balcony which got the afternoon/evening sun.
A little further away from Salo than we had anticipated, it was walkable but not an easy walk along the main road. Parking costly at 20 euros a night.

Great location, beautiful hotel and great view. Right on the lake, quiet and relaxing. The hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming and we had an amazing time during our stay

Location and reception staff
The restaurant was average at best and quiet expensive, the rooms weren’t serviced very well and the staff disinterested on the whole.
It’s a common problem when it’s a tourist hotspot, they don’t have to try.
