Nice breakfast, very comfortable bed, the view from the balcony was super.
The toilet doesn't have enough space to place my toiletry bag, besides that everything is great.

The hotel is actually a beautiful house with only 5 rooms. The room we had was comfortabel with a good bed.
Every morning we had a delicious breakfast served by the lovely always smiling Eleonora. One evening we had dinner on the terrace of the hotel. The food, wine and service were excellent.

The breakfast was fantastic, as we were seated outside on the deck, ordered eggs, fruit, pastries,, etc. Wait staff were always helpful and courteous. As well, a couple of ducks came & sat in the sun beside us. I didn't want to leave, however we needed to stretch and decided to walk around the beautiful grounds. Interesting history of the property, too. Dinner was fabulous at night, too!
Unfortunately the front desk clerk/manager sent us to a restaurant which was quite a hike from the hotel. Upon her recommendation, we walked 30 minutes, only to find the restaurant closed. We were told it wasn't necessary to have a reservation, so we trusted her judgement, as she is a longtime local. By the time we came back to civilization, the restaurants were closed. So our last night in Lake Garda was a disaster. 20 years prior, we were there on our honeymoon, and had to come back! The next morning she replied, "oh, that's too bad. They are usually open." No apology? I understand she was embarrassed, however in the hospitality business, a phone call is always made to check if they are open or closed for a private party, etc. For a 5 star boutique hotel with the same price tag, we anticipated better service.
