the hotel is absolutely great. the room, the pool and the restaurant all deserve 5 Starts.
not sure about location. .....it is at the countryside. On the other hand within 1h by car you can reach any location in Tuscany

Great location and a beautiful villa.
Amazing view and clean, stylish room.

Overall, the whole place was amazing and very atmospheric.
The food and the service. The food wasn’t bad, but nowhere near as tasty as in other places I’ve visited in Italy. The selection was small, and the dishes lacked seasoning.
The service was AMATEUR. Our orders were messed up several times, dishes arrived in the wrong order (e.g., side dish 20 minutes after the main course), and our dessert was forgotten then after 40 minutes when we asked about it they told us the restaurant had already closed.
There were two teenage (or teenage looking) waiters: one didn’t know how to use the bottle opener, the other was extremely nervous and kept dropping things. Okay, we understand that it's their first job, no problem, but even the more experienced staff had basic issues: they didn’t open or pour our drinks, and we had to remind them multiple times about forgotten items.

The triple room was much smaller than the photos indicated. But still clean and comfortable
