The staff on reception were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was really good with loads of choice and available until 11am. My room was massive with a sofa and fridge which was useful. The shower was excellent and it was all clean. Yes the apartments are over the road from reception (directly opposite) but I didn't find this a problem at all. It was just like having your own private apartment.
