Pleasant, but lack of staff for a better staying

Location

Not very clean, especially common toilets. Small swimming pool.

Spacious layout, infinity pool, proximity to beach, helpful staff

Better selection of English food for breakfast ie bacon. Also orange juice seemed watery.

It was ok.

Sea view from balcony was very nice.

I encountered a couple of days that there were delays with breakfast start time. Reception was so slow by the system to register during check in/check out.

Good option for families and old people

The hotel has a perfect connection located right by the sea—lots of attractions for adults and children. I used the SPA and massagers ( highly recommended).The two ladies in SPA were very nice, and made me feel relaxed and comfortable like in my own home. The room was large, with comfortable beds and a beautiful terrace.

The hotel is in Alcossebre not in Castellon city and is a bit far from there. There is nothing to do outside the hotel if you want to explore. The hotel is perfect for adults with children, not for single adults or friends travelling together.

It was a mix of good and bad

It was a good location. Staff was very friendly. The room had a great view. Free laundry facility was a bonus.

The pools were cold. The food was sub par. The blankets were too warm. There should be a lighter summer blanket option. The room was tiny. It was a noisy hotel.

This was our second stay, looking forward to a third.

Hotel was exceptionally clean in all areas, cleaning going on a the time. Room was a good size and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the sea. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

We had to wait in line for 25 minutes to check in, with only 2 parties in front of us. There was a second desk available but it remained unstaffed. This was disappointing after a very long car journey. Much of the "hot" breakfast food on display was only lukewarm, and there were no warmed plates available. However, there were microwaves we coukd use and it was possible to get freshly cooked omelette and pancakes from the chef, who was extremely helpful.

no kettle in room, didn’t clean balcony table or ash tray cleaned them them myself. marks on bed covers plus I don’t think my sheets were changed as it was put on inside out and was like that for 11 days!!

Great value for money seafront hotel in Alcossebre

I love the location of this hotel and the room I booked had a fabulous sea view. I am English but like that this is a mainly Spanish hotel as it gives me the opportunity to practicar mi Espanol! Mini bar was topped up with water and fantas at no charge which I think is a great touch. Also I had a bottle of Cava waiting on ice which was a great start to my holiday :-)

Iron, ironing board and coffee maker in the room would be a welcome addition.

The pool area is very nice, lots of trees and options for kids and adults. Unfortunately it's small compared with the capacity of the hotel. The breakfast is ok, lots of fruits available and plenty of options to choose from. Some products are not qualitative, for example the juice and the coffee. Very generous the take away breakfast.

Room - the cleaning needs to improve. the bathrooms are not clean and the sheets and towel need to be replaced, they are very old. - the towels in the room are like lottery. Missing towels for foot and hands or if you are 3 persons in the room they put only 1 hand towel. - Missing the welcoming water. In one room we had it in the other we didn't. Breakfast - the glasses for the water are very small and the water is provied in tanks just in two places. - glasses are not clean, they are very dirty. The way of clean them are definitly not the way to go. - the cleaning of the tables is done in a very noice way. The glasses are dumped in a big basket, the plates with food are discarded by hiting the trash can. Staff - Some staff from the bar terase were very rude and unpolite. They discuss in spanish about the guests without knowing that we could understand. When we asked to help us to bring the drinks on the pool terasa from the bar they were not happy to do it, even though the cocktail glasses were made of glass and we could have broken them. They treat the people based on the orgines and they even are rasist. After I told them i can understand Spanish and this is not how a service should be done, they started to be more polite but this is not how they should treat ths guests.

We came back again because It’s a lovely hotel, swimming pool and garden is absolutely stunning but the cleaning at the rooms is not up to standard, and to many people at breakfast “ chaos “ and with so many people at the same time at a buffet it would be nice with plastic gloves especially at a time like this ( covid ) just a question.

kids screaming 6 in the mornring and infinity swimming pool full of kids while kids pool was empty and we were not allow

First time back at this hotel since 1999 and how much it has improved in that time. Will return!!

The infinity pool was superb, plenty of sun lounges and fantastic view of the sea, the room was spacious the beds huge the only thing missing was tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was first rate plenty of choice and well presented.
