What did you like?
Al Fassia has been an absolute haven and after a full week here I was genuinely sad to leave. It is a small, peaceful and beautifully maintained hotel with lovely gardens and courtyards, a wonderfully quiet heated pool and an intimate atmosphere that feels very different from a large resort.
What really makes it special, though, is the staff. Everyone introduced themselves, was warm, attentive and incredibly hardworking without ever being intrusive. The owner regularly came around to speak to guests personally and check that everything was okay. A special mention must go to Imad, who seemed to be everywhere and never stopped working! Nothing was ever too much trouble.
There were so many thoughtful touches. After discovering that I liked an early coffee, a pot appeared at my room at around 7am every morning without me needing to ask. When returning from an evening out, reception would always ask whether I needed a drink or anything sent to my room. I also had a later flight on my final day and they very kindly allowed me to keep my room until 2pm, meaning I could enjoy the pool before showering and getting ready to leave.
Breakfast by the pool was lovely and plentiful, with fresh orange juice, fruit, Moroccan breads and pancakes, yoghurt, pastries and different little additions each day, with eggs or omelettes also offered. I also tried the daytime pool menu and the marinated chicken salad was fresh, generous and excellent. Al Fassia restaurant itself is superb.
The hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean and the grounds were constantly and discreetly maintained. Wi-Fi was reliable throughout my stay. I was travelling alone and felt completely comfortable, safe and very well looked after.
Most tellingly, I normally sleep around five to six hours a night, but here I averaged more than seven. The combination of the peaceful surroundings and wonderful hospitality allowed me to completely switch off and genuinely relax.

Hotel staff were friendly and attentive , making up our sunbeds and offering waiter service throughout the hotel. The room was spacious with aircon and enough storage for two persons for a 7 day stay. The location is about 4.5 km from the Medina with a Carrefour supermarket and indoor shopping centre only 300m away. The Medina easily reached in 50 minutes if walking or by taxi for around 50-80mad.
The airport is around 6.5 away and we used Get Transfer for our private transfers , return transfer around £25.
No issues with our Hotel which is Luxury, only mistake we made was exchanging money in the UK . Don't do this the exchange date is far better in Morrocco or better still get a Cad which allows cash withdrawal from ATM as this gives a far better exchange rate.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The facilities and overall experience were outstanding. The hotel itself feels like something out of a dream, with its beautiful interior courtyard, stunning design, and large swimming pool, which is perfect for resting and relaxing.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, always making sure we had everything we needed.
The breakfast was spectacular. Every day there was something different on offer, which kept it varied and enjoyable.
The rooms were also wonderful, spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful welcome amenities that made us feel truly appreciated.
It is true that the hotel is located a little outside Marrakech, but this was not an issue at all, as the city center is only about 7–10 minutes away by car.
Overall, an amazing experience that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Marrakech. We would definitely stay here again.
Absolutely nothing. Maybe just on weekends there was like a type of bar nearby were the music was quite loud and you could hear it until 2 in the morning more less.
