Great location for what we needed it for. I cannot emphasise enough how comfy the bed was. We have stayed in loads of hotels and this was by far the comfiest bed we have slept in.
We were in room 31 which appeared to be an attick room and my husband banged his head numerous times 🤣

Manager at reception unhelpful. Our booking was for "A King's Room". This was a room with absolutely no view, on the lower floor and very basic. There were notices stating we should not place toilet paper or wipes in the toilet pan as it could block the system and would incur a £50 payment. We should place these items in a plastic bag and into the bin! We have never seen such a disgusting system in a British establishment or in Europe. Also when I approached the manager after our arrival, as to the quality of our room, he stated that the decision to describe it as a "a King's Room" was in the hands of Booking.com and we should have booked directly with the hotel.
