Very comfortable bed. Also the staff. Food was good, both for supper and breakfast.
Tiny shower room and lack of bath mat. This was laughable in a superior room. There was a smell of smoke around the bar area, which may have been caused by people smoking just outside with the doors open! The lack of a lounge/bar area downstairs made our arrival feel unwelcoming - it just seemed as though we were entering a hall with dormitory corridors.

Clean and tidy
Appears to be NO daily servicing of rooms. I appreciate not changing bedding and towels daily and accept that. But tea and coffee wasn’t refreshed and used cups left on touched. Also disappointed that no bottles of water available, only tap water that was always tepid to drink.
