Comfortable beds and everything was very clean and well-stocked with towels and shower products. Heated pool was nice and quiet during breakfast time, and we loved the hot tub. Handy retail park with Aldi and an M&S cafe nearby
Room was a little small for two people's bags and a suitcase and shower pressure wasn't great. Quite far out of the centre compared to other accommodation but the price does reflect that and taxi services in the town are fast and reliable

It was clean, good facilities and evening meals were good value for money
It is run down, although spotless and needs money spent on it to bring it up to standard, it is also very expensive for an old hotel

Big room clwaning sraff were very bright cheerful eager to please . Really nice
Very much care eorn inside znd out in fact tatty in the extreme. Very unapealing tge rooms were the exception and I sippoae thats all that really matters

It was handy for the downhill mountain biking racing which was the purpose of our visit.
The bar meal was good value and service quick.
Our room was noisy - over the doorway where people were vaping and at the top of the stairs where other guests separated and said their goodnights. When we asked if we could
Move to a quieter room the staff were very unhelpful.
The building and spa were very tired looking, the jacuzzi was cold and the floors not as clean as they could be.
