Excellent breakfast, well cooked and all the staff were very welcoming and friendly.
The shower was a little small, and the soap and body wash positioned too high up.

Clean, well-run hotel serving decent food. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful.
Stairs to the second floor were rather steep but then, like my wife and I, the building has plenty of age and character :-)

Located 2 mins from the venue we had a party at, it was convenient for us. The bed was comfortable.
I paid the same rate for this room as for a 5-star hotel double room in Germany last week - Horton Inn was extremely expensive for what it was. The room was large but right by the road, there was a lot of road noise. We are given fans so that we can close the windows but again, not enough plugs for our electronics devices and the fans so the window had to stay open mostly and the noise was unbearable. The bathroom sink plug got stuck, the toiletry product bottles were either empty or did not work, I needed to check in slightly earlier but I could only do that for an extra £20, which is rather steep considering the exorbitant room rate. The walls need a fresh lick of paint and the carpets in the corridor could do with replacing.
