We have now visited 3 times with our dog, both in the hotel and the cottage. The Compasses is a village Inn and semis very much part of the community
All staff have always been very welcoming and the Nepalese food is great

Friendly pub with a good selection of well maintained casks and keg ales. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The highlight of the stay was the delicious Nepalese cuisine with traditional pub food also available. A good value location from which to explore the New Forest.

The restaurant and food were excellent. The bed was comfortable and clean.
The night I stayed there was a live band and endless noise from the bar made sleeping before midnight impossible. I could hear conversations in the bar that must have been just below my room. Some of the decor was a bit dated.
