The staff at Abalone guest lodge were wonderful - all very friendly and helpful. The views from the deck were great and we loved the easy access to the coastal walking path. The staff booked whale watching for us - and we had a great experience. Hermanus in whale season is spectacular - I wish everyone could get to experience it!!

Location 10/10- right on the Cliff Path - with great views. The breakfast was great: Both a' la carte and buffet options were great. And the kitchen staff were more than happy to make anything that wasn't on the menu.

Location was great! Comfortable room
Did not meet expectations. Did not feel luxurious. Overpriced - would say it was worth less than half of what they charged. Staff was also not very professional. Breakfast was very disappointing too. Overall, felt very disappointed in my stay.
