Its our second time to be there, we love this place, the scenery, pools, activities, staff and food are outstanding and all is good
We loved the open space and how the group hotels are accessible to walk and pass by (however not to use their facilities), this provided a sense of space and comfort if you love walking by the sea or do some sports.
The room is always being cleaned and maintained, we had a tiny problem in the shower (slow water flow) and the problem was fixed 15 minutes after reporting it to the reception.
Food is tasty and provided lots of varieties.
Animation team did a great job, so as to the kids area team and program
Well, in spite of all good stuff mentioned above, i may have second thoughts of getting back next year.
The main goal of the vacation is to rest and enjoy the getaway, however in jaz lamaya moving from one place to another was a real challenge.
Starting with the beach access, jaz lamaya doesnt have a good or accessible beach , you need to walk all the eay to jaz solaya (10 mins walk) in the hot weather to reach an okay spot to swim.
Given that we were Lamaya Guests, we didnt have the access on any of the beach services in Solaya (sunbeds mattresses, food or beverages) you need to walk all the way back to lamaya to grab a bite or drink from the kiosks on the beach.
Beach boys refused to service us sun-beds mattresses or F&B stating that they only serve solaya guests only
Walking to the aqua park was a real challenge with two 3 years old kids (about 15 mins walking) noting that there are not enough sunbeds there if u wanna rest and enjoy the day. It felt like a mission, going to the aqua park, stay for a while and leave.
There are F&B served for all guests in the aqua park however, which is a plus.
The restaurant experience was pleasant when it comes to F&B and staff hospitality, however it was very crowded and noisy, given that the hotel has only one main restaurant (other than the a la carte restaurants with only one visit per stay)
Bottom line, if yr looking for a laidback vacation and u dont want to exercise a lot , think twice before you g, especially if you have toddlers and moving them around is a hard mission (either in stroller or on foot)
No internal transportation through golf cart is provided , golf carts are for maintenance, bell boys and first aid only.

Stayed for a family holiday and have multiple feedbacks:
Check in :
Fast, arranged rooms so no waiting time at all and it was good after 10 hrs of travel so thanks to Mr. Mostafa Nasser front desk manager who made my life easy and give us an orientation about the hotel facilities and timings.
Rooms:
We had 2 rooms pool view, was good but we had ac problem in one of the rooms which made me communicate with Reception team and met Mr. Sherif Gamal deputy General manager who decided to move us from both rooms to another rooms and it was a really nice upgrade as it was amazing sea view with a complementary free dinner in Morgana restaurant which is really nice so thanks to Mr Sharif and Mr Mostafa so polite, descent, fast problem solving and outstanding professional attitude which made our stay amazing stay.
Restaurant :
Every day there is a different type of cuisine, chef Mohammed Hasan did a great job for offering us a marvelous experience in different dishes. His recipe is seafood soup and seafood plates are crazy good😀.
Restaurant team Alaa, Ibrahim, Yousef and all the team was really helpful and smile never let you alone and assist you everywhere.
Recreational activities :
Crazy good, every day lots of activities so my teenager boys like it so much water ball, darts, Ping bong, volleyball, football, yoga, Zumba and etc. So thanks to Mido, Mohamed, Omar and Yasso.
For me and my wife :
Beach is really nice and pure in early morning and sunset
Free Snorkeling spot inside the hotel is really charming, we could see lots of colorful fish near us.
Diving activities as well.
Kids club : My little kid likes kids club activities and multiple shows thanks to the team.
So really appreciate all team efforts to make our stay lovely, I would recommend Jaz Lamaya for sure.

Firstly I called the hotel before I reserve to inquire about the property where professionally I was answered by Mr Mostafa Nassar (AFOM) where he ensured to answer all my queries and ensure that we will enjoy our vacation
Secondly I was welcomed by my arrival at the resort with the Super Hero Mr Mohamed Harb (FOM) where he ensured himself that all our requests are fulfilled with a full explanation to our reservation benefits and extra benefits for staying specified nights in the magnificent Morgana ala Carte restaurant by the beach (Mr Harb’s recommendation)
Check in procedures were done professionally and timely by Great Fathy (reception) after having our welcome drink and he escorted us himself to our room where he wished us a nice stay
N.B: Don’t need to forget super Mohamed at Reception night shift, whom I apologize for; for taking so much time with me till the payment issue is finalized between by bank and the hotel side
In no time we received our luggage and we started our vacation
The place is very very clean where whenever your eye reaches you will not find any other than cleanliness and hygiene
Special thank you for the upper Managment headed by Mr Ahmed Mahmoud (General Manager) and Mr Sherif (Executive Assistant Manager) for being there during late dinner time making sure themselves that operation is running smoothly
The staff whoever you will deal with are just more than eager to help you from heart
I don’t need to miss names but these are really good staff where either my wife, daughter or myself dealt with and we felt their heart job loved service not only a work place

The staff was amazing and very hospitable you feel that once you reach there
from Mr Nader at the reservation department then the front office Mr Mostafa
You feel at home and really everyone wants you to feel happy
The food variety and quality were amazing the staff at the restaurant also very helpful you feel that everyone wants going for the extra mile to make you happy
The only challenge was when you are the sandy beach everything is very far from you
