Our stay at this hotel was simply wonderful—hands down one of the absolute best places we have ever stayed in all of Norway! It was the only hotel during our trip where we decided to stay for more than one night: we loved it so much that as soon as we returned to Tromsø, we immediately booked additional nights.
From the moment we arrived, Sam, the manager, welcomed us with extraordinary warmth and helpfulness, making us feel truly spoiled right away. When he found out we were celebrating our anniversary, he surprised us with an incredible upgrade to a stunning suite that left us completely speechless. The suite was incredibly spacious, featuring a separate living room with sofas, armchairs, a coffee table, and two TVs, along with a large bedroom with a top-quality King/Queen bed. The bathroom was equally roomy and beautifully finished in marble, equipped with luxury toiletries. We also loved the extra comforts like the well-stocked minibar, espresso coffee machine, plush bathrobes, and slippers, all complemented by a spectacular view of the city.
The rest of the experience was equally flawless. All areas of the hotel are exceptionally clean and well-maintained. In the lobby, there is a very convenient area with coffee and snacks available for guests. The breakfast is rich and of the highest quality, with an excellent selection of sweet and savory options, fresh fruit, and even avocado. The entire staff proved to be exceptionally attentive, professional, and thoughtful throughout our stay.
Sam’s kindness and remarkable professionalism are a true asset to this property. He knows how to take care of guests flawlessly and is always available for any request. We truly hope management fully appreciates such a valuable team member and recognizes him for the outstanding service he provides to guests.

Exactly in the downtown, nice room, beautiful view from the hotel room to the fjord and to the mountains.
Huge variety of foods for breakfast. (including hell of gluten, lactose, ... free meals)
Friendly staff.
Everything was fine, I cannot write any bad word.

Location was fantastic, couldn’t have asked for better.
The rooms are small with the upper floors having no heating other than having to ask for a fan heater and extra duvets
Sadly for the money you will pay this hotel isn’t value for money, quite dated in areas especially the bedrooms
