Great place to stay over , Friendly owner and staff, Breakfast was superb and the location coulldn't be better. Big beer garden at the back and Tables to sit at at the front of the Pub to watch the village life go by.

All the Staff were really friendly and the location was beautiful. Loved the fact it was such an old building too!
The rooms could do with a freshen up here and there.
Also I would suggest maybe setting up a tea/coffee station and a juice/water station to help the poor team member serving breakfast as it gets quite hectic (sunday morning in particular) so if guests could help themselves the team could concentrate on running the food and taking food orders etc.
I work in hospitality so I know how tight labour restraints can be so this is my suggestion as opposed to putting another team member on to help.

It served a purpose on the day. We decided late to stay over. The staff are very helpful and pleasant
V hot in the family room but that wasn't their fault.
