Lovely staff good food comfortable beds
The dual carriageway is alarmingly close to the bedroom window we were in the ground floor. I could hear the traffic from 5.30 am it was not a full hotel so a shame we didn’t get a room at the rear. The pub closed at 9pm on a Sunday so we arrived around half six and because it’s in a dual carriageway you are sort of captive there with nothing to do if you don’t want to go to bed at 9pm. However it’s a huge place and it was very quiet so can understand why

Booked for 1 night after myself and partner got evicted from our house by our teenage daughter who was having a sleep over. Lovely seated area surrounding the property and a warm, cosy homely feeling inside. Room clean and the bed was so comfy. Restaurant/Bar area had a nice relaxed feel, food was nice, staff were all friendly happy to help nothing was too much trouble. Ended up having a lovely night and will definitely go back.
Nothing really to say that we didnt like, the back of the property is like a hidden secret garden with lovely surroundings but the front is a very busy dual carriage way but it didn't have any effect on our stay. Food lovely but just abit pricey.
