On the first day, the app seemed simple enough except you could not remove or change menu items so I had to call to order. The second day I thought I had ordered until I rang half an hour later and the order had not been received. We mentioned this on check out. So frustrating.

ホテルは満足できるレベルだった。

4か所のレストランに行ったが、それぞれ美味しかった。ミールクーポンが50ドル／1泊毎についてきたので4日すべてホテルレストランで食事をした。繁華街までも徒歩10分強と近く、歩く行程も楽しい。フロントの対応も申し分なく何ら不満はなかった。価格については若干割高感を感じたが、円安の影響が大きいのかと思う。

ホテルには全く関係がないが、以下が不満だった点。空港からの無料の送迎サービスがあったが、運転手が40分遅れた。タクシーに乗ればホテルに到着出来ているレベル。これがオーストラリアでは当たり前なのかわからないが、日本人からすると出口で待ち構えていてほしい。また、遅れの連絡を含め、6回位ショートメッセージでのやり取りが発生。英語のやりとりが苦手な人にはつらいと思う。一番残念だったのが最初に起こった。

Having a good rest but disappoint on variety of food.

Comfy Bed, Nice View, Quiet, love the heated pool.

I went for 4 nights, I wish I booked somewhere else and I went on my birthday where most places usually offer a complime

The fridge was tiny, the room we were in had faulty sensors so the night light and cupboard light kept coming on while we were sleeping and gave us a fright

For the money you can find better

Room was spacious. Close to Darling Harbour

Checking in took at least 20 minutes. Very little or no assistance or guidance as to facilities or dinning in the casino hotel or surrounds. Staff did not know.

For the price and reputation of the Star, we were disappointed and not impressed; would not return again unfortunately.

Great location, beautiful entrance and lobby! Room service was fantastic and quick.

Original room that was booked was not given to us - they had put someone else in our room so we were given another room and then had to pack up and move for the last two nights. Rooms were not overly clean, could not order room service through the online QR system & no mini bar items in room. Pool outside was not heated so not desirable for a late afternoon swim, spa was a better option. Staff eventually solved our room issue but were overall not great to deal with. They attempted to charge us valet parking without notifying us on arrival that our car was being parked in the valet section (parking was included in our booking but options and details were not specified on arrival). Could not get the aircon to work in the rooms for the final night so sleep wasn’t comfortable.

Lovely but not sure we would stay again due to the beds

room was nicely decorated, fittings were good quality, room was quite spacious and was lovely to sit outside on the balcony rather than stuck in the room in the aircon

Overally we had a lovely stay, let me be clear. Just pointing out that the beds were too soft and we went home with sore backs. The extra underlays made them like sleeping on marshmallow and made the beds too hot. We stripped them off but the padding on the top of the bed was similar so there was TWO lots of padding on the beds. You couldn't turn the aircon down low enough so we were freezing or turned it off and we were too hot. There was ridiculous sensor lights in rooms so whenever someone moved in the night the hall lights and bathroom lights came on!! BIZARRE. You should be able to disable this. I rang reception to check and the method they gave me to turn it off didn't work. I had to sleep with a pillow trying to hide the ilght. Also, there was a fridge in the room that was too difficult to figure out the settings on. We think it was either a fridge or a freezer – not both so we bought some ice cream trying to keep it frozen and it didn't freeze, but if we turned it to freeze mode, it froze things we didn't want frozen. We had to google or YouTube how to figure this out and still couldn't. There might be a way of doing both but not that we could find after doing heaps of research online. Should it be that hard? One of the bedrooms clearly smelled of smoke and there were discarded cigarette butts on the blacony. They offered to swap us to another room but we had completely unpacked by then and bought groceries in our fridge to supplement our stay so we opened up windows as much as we could which helped. My young daughter didn't have the energy to move with us so we put up with it

Fitting for a VIP, amazing service and pure luxury.

close to the city and everything. lots to do around the area. Entertainment hub at the Star. The staff were so friendly and lovely. Not sure how to fault the stay.

We had a very nice holiday at The Star.

Great location. Very handy to have easy access to the light rail. Beautiful room, very quiet with a spacious and elegant design.

Signage isn't great, very difficult to know where to check in when you enter the building.

Amazing four day stay at the Star Grand Hotel. Really comfortable beds, great sleep every night.

The bed was so comfortable and the room was very roomy with good views. Love the automatic blinds. We were impressed that my wife's favourite tea was replenished day after day (we stayed 4 days). Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Great dining options in the Star complex and even more options just outside.

There was nothing to complain about. Not at all.

Will look elsewhere before booing the Star

We did not get the harbour view room we booked. In stead we had a ground floor room near the pool area, that was very busy with so many kids running around.

Downgraded, room was average, coffee machine did not work, nil harbour views that we booked and paid for months in advance. Overlooked a rooftop with overgrown weeds and directly looked into the pool area that was overrun with kids and families.

A superb break

The Star Grand was just divine. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The room was clean and welcomed you as you enter weed by opening the blinds and calling you to their fabulously comfy beds. We indulged in breakfast in our room the next morning which was served hot and delicious. A great stay.

No Netflix or cable for additional RV choices . But that is being picky.

Exceptional

The complimentary room upgrade was exceptional! The room was exceptionally big, and there were enough showers for us all to shower at once without rushing. There were televisions in every room, allowing us to watch television programmes easily without having to go to the living room. There were many dining places near our hotel room, saving us the trouble to spend money on an Uber to dine at other places. The balcony of our room had a great view. Enjoyed it daily by drinking coffee there.

No immediate access to pool and gym because they are under renovation. Too troublesome to walk to Darling Hotel to use their pool. Cucina Porto restaurant did not want to let us into the restaurant because we didn't make a reservation. There were clearly tables not reserved in the restaurant, the waiter just did not want to let us in. My husband did a last-minute booking and we managed to get in, which proves my point that the waiter just did not want to let us in. Serving was also very slow.

Excellent location and value for money

Had a twin room that was very spacious. Beds were queen size and very comfortable. Shower was excellent. Location was terrific as we were seeing a show at the Lyric Theater.

Unfortunately, one of the beds had a hole in the sheet which I wasn't told about until the morning. And no milk in the fridge to make a cup of tea/coffee.

The beds were very comfortable. The unit was amazing, very spacious. There were 2 adults and 2 children. we had plenty of room, and the staff brought up a role out bed so each of the kids had their own bed, which was great after being in a small room for 8 days with 2 small double beds and a 10hrs flight back to Australia so it was great to have plenty of space

The food we got from room service was very disappointing. The kids' nuggets and chips were better than the wague pasta, and the margarita pizza that my wife and I got the pizza sauce and pasta bolanase was extremely sweet

Great room. Shame about the service

Got upgraded to a one bed apartment which was nice

Had to ask 4 times for a shaver and shaving Cream. Was told each time '5. mins'. Never arrived. Disappointing for the 5 star hotel. I have noticed that 5 star hotels in Australia just don't have the staff or systems since COVID.
