A lovely stay in an affordable hotel .

Location was excellent , literally a 5 minute walk to the city centre . Rooms were spacious and the bed was huge . Staff were always warm and welcoming throughout our stay .

Nothing to dislike , you get what you pay for and at the price we paid we couldn’t be more delighted with the facilities and location .

The overall experience was good. But the staff there sometimes seem unprofessional.

The common space is nice and tidy. The check out time is late.

The receptionists were not so friendly. The cleaning service was not good enough. We came back late and found the cleaner just took the rubbish bags away, didn’t change the towels or bed sheets, the staff said that during Easter holiday they would only change when we requested.

Vacation stay

The location is easy to catch the tram and walk to Docklands and Spencer mall

The bed was two singles pushed together. One side was not even and spent three nights sleeping on the frame and firm.

Excellent value for money, near the railway station, but on the quieter side of the tracks.

Close to the railway station (3 minute walk) but a quiet location. The rooms well appointed and clean. Very comfortable bed. Excellent value for money. The staff very friendly and very helpful. We will definitely bookmark this hotel as our first choice for future visits to Melbourne.

Perfect location for a Docklands or City visit

I called ahead to check I could drop my bags off early & spend the day in the city shopping, as a lovely surprise my room was ready for me when I arrived & I was able to check in earlier than planned.

There wasn't any signage away from the motel, so when I was looking for the motel after leaving Southern Cross station, it was a bit of guess work & following my phone. I never found the elevator to access the street the motel was on & I had to use all those stairs.

Very pleasant and quiet central ish location :)

Right behind the Southern Cross station but very quiet location. Was perfect to be able to walk into the central city, alternatively we took Lime scooters everywhere :) Staff were friendly and the hotel seemed very quiet and low key with no hustle and bustle.

Werent in the hotel long enough to not like anything.

Our stay was good, but the AC wasn’t working properly during night time for 2 days of our stay, which made our sleep unc

Fist of all room was meant to be ready at 3ppm ! Did not get in there till 3:30pm which I had to chase up as well! After a long day this is not good enough!!

suited my needs ! close to the Airport shuttles and fringe of the CBD & Casino along with the Yarra

very accommodating when given a room on floor 13 and semi joking i played the superstition card and i was moved to floor 8 ..

nothing comes to mind ? i didn't say long (1 night) so all was as expected

-Bon acceuil. -Chambre modeste.

-Les photos de l'établissement ne reflètent pas tellement la réalité. -Chambre trop bruyante (nous entendions en permanence les trains en gare) -Équipements de la chambre vieillissant -Rideaux sale et très poussiéreux. -Situation géographique de l’hôtel excentré de la ville et ruelle pour y accéder sombre. -Qualité moyenne de thé et café dans la chambre -Qualité du petit déjeuner assez décevante.

Okay for a short stay, but don't expect a lot.

The location was okay. The staff were pleasant enough and the lift was easy to access at anytime of the day. Relatively quiet room too, but room service knocking on the door at 9.30 was a little annoying.

Bedding was lacklustre, everything didn't feel like it was cleaned enough walking in. Kind of felt dirty particularly in the bathroom and shower surrounds.

Nice for a few nights stay.

The staff were very lovely and helpful! The beds were pretty comfortable! Accommodating with early check-in (has 2 very tired kids). Was nice and close to everything. The bathroom was cleaned well.

A couple of hot chocolate sachets wouldn't have gone a stray instead of just tea and coffee. Room service seemed to just change the towels over, kinda though they might have made the beds nice and gave a quick vac. (These are such minor things we enjoyed our stay)

Clean, staff very helpful, good location

Staff very accomodating as we arrived well before check in time and left well after check out time. We were able to leave our bags and they even allowed us to change clothes before heading to the airport. Location was great, close to transport and DFO shopping complex

Only downside was that the aircon in our room was a bit noisy

Would definitely return!

- the location! (very convenient!) - room service (we did not expect our beds to be made every day, or for our tea and coffee to always be replenished! This was a real bonus!) - Staff always very accommodating and friendly!

We weren't able to open a window! Although there was air-con, we did miss some fresh air coming through our room.

Great location, room and breakfast disappointing this stay.

Regular visitor and location is really very good for me.

My room was a little average. It was tired and a bit grotty. There were several stains on the lounge in the room and there was damage to the door stop in bathroom which made it quite sharp. This visit in a coincidence I had friends staying on the same night so I met them for breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was really disappointing. It was cold, for $21 I was not expecting a full buffet but I would like my eggs and bacon hot, warm even, not cold.

Comfortable accomodation and great location

Great location. Parking is extra. However, rooms were clean and we enjoyed our stay there.

The staff could have been more friendlier. We called Travelodge to see if we can do early checkin. We were told that we have to pay an extra day for an early checkin which is fine if that’s there policy. We were told that if we want early check in without charge then to call at 12pm. When we were checking out at 9am next day, we saw the staff providing early checkin to guests free of cost on the counter which was inconsistent to what we were told. Regardless, the hoe, is a good value for money and we will be staying there again. Will just not be expecting the staff to go an extra-mile for us.

The location was good and the staff excellent, but the rooms need help.

Staff were friendly and the location was good.

The bathroom was in need of some work. The shower pressure was nonexistent. The grouting and the silicone need replacing. The beds also need replacing, my partner had springs or something digging into her back and the pillows were hard or harder.
