The staff, bar and restaurant area were lovely, genuinely lovely. Great beer and drinks, breakfast was lovely too. The ladies behind the bar were great from minute one, and the young man who rushed to check we were being served was lovely too.
To say the bedroom (No. 2 I think) were "tired" is an understatement. Also, when I glanced under the bed, there was a punnet of some uneaten raspberries from the previous occupant. Not great.
The other gentleman (manager) seemed to think it beneath him to serve customers and seemed more interested in moving chairs around! Still each to their own and it provided amusement for me and my bemused family.
The noise coming through windows at night is horrendous - a professional needs to be brought in to shore them up properly.

It was clean and roomy it was nice to see coffee and tea plus biscuits
It was quite worn out and needs updating especially the bathroom and bedding was ripped in places but clean
