Beautifully room in a great location. Walking distance to old town and close to a bus stop. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was extremely nice.

Good location, nice breakfast.
When we arrived, despite clearly putting into our reservation that we were 2 adults and a child (and putting our child’s age correctly), we arrived to find a room that was too small for the three of us (ie a two person bed with no space for a roll-in bed). The staff at the hotel said this was a “common problem” with other guests as well, stating that children under 5 are not counted as needing their own bed and therefore would sleep in the same bed as adults. For anyone who has children, you will know that fitting a six year old into a bed with two adults is not comfortable for any parties involved. When we tried to get moved to a different room, the hotel said we must have put in our daughter’s age in wrong here on booking.com (ie put her younger than she is), and in any case everything else was booked full. It was only when we got back to the room that we realised that the hotel’s own booking.com rules (here on this website!) actually note that children over 7 (and not over 5) “count” as adults from a room size perspective. In other words, it wasn’t our mistake but the hotels. Needless to say, we do not recommend the hotel for families.
Other much more minor comments: there are no coffee and tea facilities in the rooms, which is unusual at this price point. Also, the AC is centrally managed. Meaning, you can only turn the AC on or off and you can’t change other settings for it.
