This is a curious little hotel filled with artefacts from around the world. It’s an idyllic location directly on Lake Constance. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast buffet was lovely. The room and balcony was spacious although crowded
Perhaps the room constellation with the furniture can be redesigned as the bed is squashed into a nook while the bulk of the room filled with other furniture that served no purpose and impeded comfort

A wonderful location, directly at Lake Constanz/Bodensee. A beautiful historic villa with a lovely garden - truely unique. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Totally quiet. Close to the old town. There is a coffee machine (not tea) in the room. A spacious room.
Not much to say. It is a historic building, so it is not new which brings its charm - one just needs to know it. Reception or any other facilities are from 8am to 6pm only.

The location was good. The outside decoration and design and the garden was interesting and charming. Staff were friendly. The breakfast, although expensive, was good.
The worst thing was its bed, super high and uncomfortable.
The room is made with antic furniture, it is beautiful but highly occupied by large, unnecessary and useless furniture, which makes moving and living in such a small room very inefficient and uncomfortable. Toilet and bath are super small. The bath bowl is beside the bed and in front of the door. No balcony, nice view but small window.
Very expensive.
No lift, we had to leave our baby pram at downstairs.
