Expensive, beautiful, antic-design hotel but not very comfortable

The location was good. The outside decoration and design and the garden was interesting and charming. Staff were friendly. The breakfast, although expensive, was good.

The worst thing was its bed, super high and uncomfortable. The room is made with antic furniture, it is beautiful but highly occupied by large, unnecessary and useless furniture, which makes moving and living in such a small room very inefficient and uncomfortable. Toilet and bath are super small. The bath bowl is beside the bed and in front of the door. No balcony, nice view but small window. Very expensive. No lift, we had to leave our baby pram at downstairs.

Great stay right on the shore of Konstanz lake

Great location, right on the side of the lake. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room was small but cozy just that with a baby we could’ve use more space.

A unique place to stay

It is located perfectly next to the lake and in walking distance to the old town. It is a charming old villa. Free parking, if you find a parking lot.

No air conditioning, small bathroom and expensive, especially as breakfast was not included in price.

if you want to stay in a hotel feels like a fairytale at Konstanz come to this lovely hotel

Such a beautiful architecture, feels like a fairytale… Lovely garden with lovely lightenings, definitely will be back in summer… Great stuff who even thought about the height of the bed for the room of the kid.

Nothing everything was great. Maybe they can just add some additional pillow to sleep.

Romantic and elegant.

This is lovely family-run hotel with wonderful decoration and atmosphere. It is perfectly situated near the lake for a quick swim. It is very calm and quiet, clean. The garden area for breakfast was lovely.

The location and the house were perfect and the staff was very friendly.

Breakfast , location and room were perfect. Only the bathroom was rather small.

Very special place, but lovely

The location is perfect, next to lake. Very special vibe about this place. It appears the house used to be private residence of rich family who loved hunting. Plenty of stuffed exotic animals Harding our room. Very nice breakfast.

Restaurant was closed during our stay. But no problem as many restaurants around the corner.

Very good

The place faces the lake and close to the city center. People are very friendly and the breakfast is amazing. You can order how your egg is cooked. You can jog along the lake which is awesome. The hotel can help me find a place to park.

The room is not spacious but if you think of the location, no complaint!

Good

Great location. Very close to the lake and to Konstance. Breakfast was good and the chef was friendly but staff did not really explain how it worked. The hotel was a lot of charm and we were able to put the bags into our room before it was ready ( we arrived early). The food/dinner really good and great choice of wines. Very relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is extremely clean.

Room for two people was very small and had too much furniture. Quite noisy in the night as our room seemed to be directly over the outdoor seating area. Staff at dinner seemed at a bit overwhelmed. Difficult to order which was a shame as the food was lovely. Parking is very limited but we were lucky to find a spot.

Highly recommended & very beautiful!

It’s a beautiful and pretty place to stay. Staff was very helpful. Beautiful location, right opposite to the see and close to restaurants. Very good furniture. Quiet! Breakfast quality was so amazing and so fresh

Not much. Buffet was slightly different than other hotels. No complaints but it’s just a bit different. Would be nice if someone guided us in English :)

Exceptional

This was a beautiful location. The hotel was also so unique and very clean. It has so many interesting antiques, but there was no dirt and it felt like we were at home. Breakfast outside gazing at the lake was such a perfect to start each day.

It is in a very convenient spot near the lake and a short walk to the downtown area.

There is no parking available on site, and limited parking on the street.

Great location but overpriced

The location and breakfast and service were great

The room felt cramped and the loo/ bathroom within the room is a bit of a joke for the price charged.It should be stated in the website that the “bathroom” is 60cm wide and the sink is in the bedroom

Romantic hotel at the lake promenade

We asked in advance for vegan breakfast and were extremely pleased, they really organized a lot. The restaurant was also excellent for dinner, here again good vegan options. Very close to the promenade which is beautiful, but people who want a quite night should check before which room to select. Central location, you can walk to the old city.
