The staff were friendly and helpful, and let me store my bags all day and kill a couple of hours in the breakfast room - I was on a night sleeper - after I had checked out.
It's in a great location if you want the Kulturforum and Philharmonie (10 minutes walk) and Potsdamer Platz (15 minutes).
I found it hellishly difficult to get to from the Hauptbahnhof using public transport. It's a 45 minute walk, but that would have been quicker than the U Bahn. There is no direct connection from the main station to Potsdamer Platz. I ended up using 3 different lines (U5, U2, U3) and should have taken the bus instead.
There is also a marked lack of decent places to eat and drink. There's a food court in Potsdamer Platz (The Playce) and a couple of restaurants but otherwise it's a bit of a desert.

The staff were amazing, the room was larger than I actually anticipated. It was clean and the location was perfect.
Maybe consider getting a hot water kettle for the room. Also, the drainage for the bathroom was open so as to allow water not to clog, but then this lead to it having a bad smell when showering.

Location is great.
Single beds were way too small for an adult. Pillows not comfortable, but it was as exactly what to expect from those rates.
