The staff were lovely. So helpful. Location is fabulous. Right next to the botanic gardens, lots of walking trails and beauty all around. Rooms were really nice, very clean. MAKE sure you tell the front desk if you don't want someone in your room. There are no "do not disturb" signs in the room so I was taken aback when I came back on day one and noticed someone had been in my room. I asked about it and they added my name to the list of not entering my room.
Parking is a problem. They have a TINY lot out back, so if you can fit into a small alleyway then it can work ok. Street parking is paying, so definitely a tricky place. BUT if you can squeeze into the tiny lot in the back, it's free, which helps a LOT in this area. Overall a really good experience though.

I loved the location. Only a 15-minute walk to the city centre and the University. I loved how cozy my room was as well. I also loved that there were tea and coffee provisions already available in the room.
The only concern I had was the floor creaking when I walked. I sometimes thought the noise could be heard from the outside. But other than that, the service was excellent. The place was quiet for the 2 days I was there and most importantly clean.

The location was good for me as I was attending a conference nearby
There was no heating in the bathroom which made it very chilly. I imagine this could be a much bigger issue in the winter.
The heating in the room was tricky too. The radiator was hard to put on, took quite a long time to warm up and then seemed to be an “all or nothing” affair.
The room was small
At over ÂŁ100 per night for room only I thought this was rather expensive.
