Rustic village inn with friendly staff in a nice village and very good value
There was nothing I would complain about . It’s not the Ritz but for what you get for the price it’s amazing

Breakfast was excellent. Room was cute although a little 'tired'. Linen and towels clean. Staff super helpful in terms of making room in their bin storage to store our bikes. Evening meal good. Lots of plug sockets in room.
Breakfast service was VERY slow. They seemed to be very short-staffed with just one person taking orders and waiting on tables. He seemed a bit harassed! Coffee machine wasn't working so we had to wait for it to be made with quite a delay before getting a morning drink. One plug socket (kettle socket) not working but plenty of others so could still use it.

Location, very convenient for town.
Hotel was tired abd worn and is due to close next week due to change of ownership and refurbishment . 5pm on Sunday bar was shut.
