Every staff member was extremely helpful and welcoming. I had a very solid nights sleep.
Rooms are a bit tired and could do with updating. However, based on the price I paid I was satisfied. Only needed something basic to get my head down after a long day.

It is ideally placed for getting out and about. The bar and restaurant were excellent and had just been recently updated. Food was great, always hot and special offers were fab. Didn’t have to wait long although it was busy. A great breakfast. Well worth booking with breakfast.
The rooms are very outdated furniture wise and quite tatty especially the bathrooms, but we were informed that they are starting work in a few weeks time to up grade these. Our room was at the back and I could hear the traffic for most of the night as the hotel is literally just off the junction of the main road.

Location to where we was going.
Some staff were lovely
. Lack of staff on reception meaning having to wait to be served at bar to check in.
. Very uncomfortable bed
. Room needed a bit of an up date
. Security alarm kept us awake first night and second night was kept awake by a fight outside the pub right below our window
