We attended a festival evening and the hotel is conveniently located right outside the castle. The staff were very friendly, the decor and layout was interesting,the establishment and our room was clean and the breakfast was great value.
Possible indications of mold in the bathroom but under control.

The place feels like a museum itself. It is full of old relicts. The breakfast was quite simple, but the experience itself made it worth it. It has very cute inside area to sit and admire. They let us store our bicycles within this area, which we appreciate. The city pretty much closes before the sunset, so it felt like we are alone explorers of the city walls. That was quite charming! We also find a restaurant inside Obidos that we just loved "Realmente". While it looked as touristic trap, was the best one we ever went to! We would come back only to stay in this place and enjoy the restaurant again!
There was a bit of misunderstanding of check-in and we had to call few times (until someone pick-up), and waited for more than 20mins for somebody to come. We were a bit in a hurry, so it made us a bit frustrated. We wanted to go for a walk and find a place to eat while places were still working. I understand the request to let them know in advance, but its very hard to do that when you are coming with bicycles. We tried to be as accurate as we could (we provided estimation for 30mins interval, and even when we came within it, we had to wait almost 30mins)
Not a complaint about this place, but general note that Obidos closes quite early. We regret not being able to come to this place a bit earlier, so that we could have enjoyed vibrant vibe of the city and still opened places more.

This is a charming hotel but rather run down and excellently located. It was very cold during our visit but the heating for our room was inadequate and the dining area was also cold.
