The location is amazing. An outstanding view that few properties have in como. The professional and helpful staff including Silvia, Hiranthi made us feel at home. For anyone looking to travel to Lake Como(City) need to either hire a Taxi(Contact Rinalda) or need to take a bus. I highly recommend this property! The morning breakfast was delicious with enough variety to choose from! ❤️

Silva and the team made our stay truly special. From the moment we arrived they were incredibly warm, kind and attentive, nothing was too much trouble.
Villa le Ortensie itself is stunning. A beautiful B&B in the most peaceful setting right on Lake Como, perfect for switching off and taking it all in. The views are breathtaking and the atmosphere is completely calm and relaxing.

This property is an amazing jewel. The time stands still here in a such beautiful way. The people are also super nice and kind. This was my second time here and I can’t wait to come back next year. I had a room overlooking the lake with the balcony framed by fragrant wisteria flowers. It was so so magical that I had to take it with me in some way. I wrote a song Elara Vaux “This is Dolce Vita (villa le Ortensie) - It truly describes the experience I had there 🙂

the view from the room was nice.
common areas are bad, the blankets for the bed, the state of the room in general, the hotel is hard to access, they charge for late check out which is absurd for a bed and breakfast. would be ok for a lot less money.
