We had a wonderful stay at Shingley Beach Resort. Our apartment was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated, with everything we needed in the kitchen for a self-catered stay.
The beds were particularly comfortable, and we loved the lovely views from the apartment. The location was also excellent — just a short and pleasant walk along the marina into Airlie Beach.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Shingley Beach Resort for a comfortable and convenient stay in Airlie Beach.
The only downside was that the bins were emptied quite early in the morning, and the noise woke us up every morning.

The bath/shower is quite a high step in and out and a potential tripping hazard.

Location
Rowdy neighbours who partied past 1.30am. It was bad enough when they were on the verandah, it was worse when they came inside as the walls are not sound proof. Parking is really tight for a Ute and Ripped carpet on stairs is a major trip hazard. I picked up keys from a locked box and dropped off keys into a locked box so I had no interaction with staff.
