Have stayed at Arma before as well. the location is fabulous and the grounds are very well maintained and feast for the eyes ! The staff is always nice !
This time was disappointed as the suite appointed was in the new wing was hoping for 2 adjoining rooms around Room 821 (my earlier stays were always there) .

What a unique stay! Stayed for a short birthday trip. The grounds of the resort were lush, well maintained and so interesting to explore. They created a garden that was truly lost in time.
The view from our room was a stunning pool view.
Our room was spacious and comfortable.
We had free access to their beautiful art museum located on the resort grounds. We really enjoyed the nightly cultural experiences and attended the Legong Dance and Ramayana ballet. I would definitely recommend attending these.
The spa experience was amazing, we really enjoyed the Balinese massage.
The resort is located on a busy main street and has several entrances. We walked to the monkey forest (about 22 mins walk) and walked to the Yoga Barn (about 14 mins walk) for an amazing yoga session. There are many restaurants along this busy main street.
Our stay was lovely and would certainly stay again.
The resort grounds are dimly lit at night so be cautious of this.

Arma Museam and Park
Room was not clean upon arrival, dirty towels and the rooms are clearly outdated and in need of renovation. The hotel promotes sustainability and environmental awareness, but having to run the shower for five minutes before getting warm water contradicts that message. Water pressure was also weak.
Arma and his family are kind and welcoming people, which we appreciated. However, some of the staff — not all — provided service that was far below what I would expect from Arma’s standards.
Overall, the hotel rooms urgently need an upgrade. Apart from the Arma Museum, I do not understand how this property maintains such a high rating.
